"March Note: Faith Over Fear"
Happy New Month! A Note from Dorcas Great-king
Dear Reader,
As we step into March, I want to share this note with you—an encouragement to walk in faith, stand in virtue, and grow in purpose. Fear is one of the biggest obstacles to living a life of virtue. It stops people from making the right choices, speaking the truth, and standing for their values. But as believers, we are not called to live in fear—we are called to walk in faith.
Fear Weakens Virtue
Many times, fear makes people compromise their values.
Fear of rejection makes some follow the wrong crowd.
Fear of failure makes others give up on their dreams.
Fear of standing alone makes people keep silent when they should speak up.
But fear is not from God. His Word says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Faith Strengthens Virtue
Walking in faith means trusting God even when the world pressures you to do otherwise. It means choosing purity, honesty, and righteousness, even when it’s difficult. Faith is the foundation of true virtue.
Your Challenge for March
Identify one fear that has been holding you back from doing what is right.
Replace that fear with faith by trusting God’s Word.
Take one step of courage this month—stand for what is true, choose purity, or walk away from compromise.
God has called you to live boldly, not in fear. Stand firm in virtue, walk in faith, and keep growing.
This is my note to you for March—stay true, stay pure, and keep shining!
Happy New Month!
